The Dermatology & Skin Health team of medical professionals were the first to perform Coolsculpting by Zeltiq in New Hampshire.  Anesthesia is not required and there is no recovery time with this non-invasive fat removal procedure.  After the treatment patients may immediately return to their normal activities including work and exercise.

Coolsculpting by Zeltiq utilizes an advanced cooling technology known as Cryolipolysis™ to selectively target and cool the fat cells creating the bulges.  Zeltiq works by pressing a specially designed applicator cup against the targeted area. This device uses a gentle vacuum pressure to draw tissue between cooling panels. The cold permanently damages the unwanted fat cells. Several days after the Zeltiq fat removal procedure, the targeted fat cells begin a process called “apoptosis” and start to shrink.  The body slowly absorbs these damaged fat cells, eliminating them naturally through the liver.
